Stick with the best Jun 30, 2008 I had this same unit for over 20 years and it finally gave up. No sense trying anyone else out, I am sticking with a product that has been around the block for a awhile and is still in business. Only new features on the new ones are the inside controllers. Amazingly, my inside unit is still working so I only had to buy the outdoor unit. Another plus in that after 20 years, the parts are still interchangeable!
